I have to thank my friend Nickie for sharing this recipe with me! She found it on Pinterest from “www.howsweeteats.com.”
This recipe is less complicated than a lot of other sangria recipes out there. It’s also a great way to use up some apples and pears from apple picking or holiday fruit baskets!
Apple Cider Sangria
1 Bottle of Pinot Grigio (I love the 90+ company if you can find it)
2 1/2 Cups fresh apple cider
1 Cup club soda
1/2 Cup ginger brandy
3 Honey crisp apples, chopped
3 Pears, chopped
Combine all ingredients and stir. Refrigerate for at least one hour… or more!
*Regular brandy can be used, but ginger brandy gives it a more autumn flavor.
