Grilling in the winter…

There might be a blizzard outside, but inside I decided to do some grilling. I made one of my favorite pizzas on my Cuisinart Griddler. The Griddler was a Christmas present from my brother and sister in law and I absolutely love it! It can be used as a griddle for pancakes or grill or a combination of grill and griddle. There are two features that allow you to cook with the Griddle open or use it as a panini press. The Griddler pans can be cleaned very easily too. I’m sure I’ll be getting a lot of use out of it! Thank you, Mike & Stephanie!

Anyways.. back to pizza! I bought some pizza dough at Trader Joes and used a small piece of it to make a personal sized pizza. I simply topped it with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and chopped basil. The dough became really nice and crispy and cooked perfectly!

Great use of an indoor grill with the pizza, especially since it won’t get the house too smokey! Props to Mike & Stephanie on the awesome gift!
